My name is Alexandra Avdiunina, and No Smell of Genius is an artistic practice shaped by stillness, attention, and perception.
Slowness and imperfection are part of the process, allowing each image to exist as a physical object rather than a fleeting impression. The works invite the viewer to pause, look longer, and notice what often remains unseen.
Alongside photography, I also work with figurative painting — a parallel practice through which I explore thoughts and emotional tension in a more direct and expressive way.
No Smell of Genius is a space where art does not explain — it simply exists.
